Julie is the co-founder of Go2zone who is passionate about improving the quality of landscapes and waterways in South East Queensland
through strategic initiatives and productive partnerships. She understands the importance
of collaboration and enjoys working closely with all levels of government, industry groups and community members on initiatives that ensure South East Queensland is protected for future generations.
Prior to her role at Healthy Land and Water, Julie held senior positions at Queensland Urban Utilities and Brisbane City Council and was responsible for portfolios including research and businesses development, innovation, service delivery and design.
In her spare time Julie loves to run and stay fit. She also loves to cook for her family. Until a few years ago Julie was also a scout
leader. Julie volunteers at local clean up and school events, especially those relating to nurturing
and caring for nature.
Faye is the co-founder of Go2zone who is committed to ending plastic pollution through innovation and education by making healthy habits easy to manage. She is the inventor of Go2zone stations – Go2zone concept has the innovation patent in Australia.
Her career has spanned a broad cross-section of sectors including FMCG, shipping, insurance, professional firm and not-for-profit. She has
worked for some of the largest organisation in the shipping industry and fresh produce
sector. Her career in the community sector were primarily on private healthy insurance, allied health, early childhood education and natural resources. Faye has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Master of Business Administration.
She has volunteered in the Girl Guides and Sea Scouts movements previously; she was also committee member in the early days. Faye is also a lifelong animal lover. Her affection for ‘four- leggers’ and birds was cemented since she was little.
